![]() ![]() We were all pleasantly surprised to see a quinoa dish on a Disney Quick Service Dining Menu that we really had to try it! My daughter and I all chose the Quinoa salad – With Green Beans, potatoes, Olives,Roasted Bell Peppers, Golden Beets and Tomatoes which is priced at $9.99. We were eating on the Disney Dining Plan. ![]() When our order came out it was incorrect so they had to go back and replace a couple of items. A nice touch, except the Cast Members all seemed rushed and not exactly happy in their work. The food is then delivered in elaborate dinner carts. We had worked out that there is a sensor under the table so that they know where you are. We loved this effect but if you have younger children you may want to choose a different room. There is thunder and lightening in this room. Watch how the portrait over the fireplace changes too. But we loved the decor and of course the Enchanted Rose is here. The West Wing is dimly lit and the smallest of the rooms. The other is The Rose Gallery, but this one didn’t seem anywhere near as interesting. This is one of two smaller rooms located off the main dining room. We decided not to eat in this room but move on to the West Wing. Yes that really is snow falling (well Disney snow anyway). The huge windows at the back of the Ballroom are worth a closer look. Look up as you have to see the amazing chandeliers and the rather bizarre paintings of cherubs looking rather to realistically like modern babies. So yes you do have to ignore the noise and all the dining tables with hundreds of diners, but the effect is still spectacular. It is large with very high ceilings and gives the right feeling that you truly are entering a Grand Ballroom. You enter The Ballroom first and it really is breathtaking the first time you see it. When you are finished with your order you are able to walk into the dining areas and pick a room to dine in. We thought they were pretty user friendly but many obviously didn’t! It really is a good idea to look at the menu in the line and then look at the screens in the corridor. We saw large groups of confused diners standing around the kiosks. Many people do seem to have problems with the ordering process though. There are Cast Members walking around this area ready to assist if you need them. This is pretty easy, particularly if you have been looking at the kiosks in the corridor so that you know what to expect. You scan your Magic Band or you rose on the kiosk. Finally you get to go to a screen to order your food at one of the kiosks in the Library. If you don’t then you are given a red rose. You are greeted by a Cast Member and if you have a Magic Band that is scanned. A really good idea.įinally you reach the Beast’s Library. Pictures of all the food are on the screens to give you a better idea of what you are ordering. In this corridor there are podiums where the menu is displayed on interactive screens. Listen carefully and you will see hear the suits of armor talk. Lunch guests stand in line in the Knights Corridor Hall of Armor. We were fortunate as we have eaten dinner at Be Our Guest so already knew to take our time to look around at the wonderful details in the theme. The food is “French inspired” but has a good range where even the pickiest of eaters should find something to their liking.Įventually we got to the front of the line and entered the amazingly themed building. No doubt Disney will get the system up and running in a logical way soon! If you can get a FastPass+ for Be Our Guest you will go straight to the front of the line.Ĭast Members pass out menus to those in the line so you have plenty of time to make your selections. The system for FastPass+ booking for Be Our Guest seems to be a little confused at this time with guests reporting that reservations are not available 60 days ahead as is usual with this system. You can also use FastPass+ at the kiosks in the parks if you do not fit into one of these groups. ![]() If you are a Disney Resort Guest or Annual Passholder you can book in advance with FastPass+. If it is going as far as Gaston’s Tavern then you will be there for an hour at least.įortunately there are ways to plan ahead with FastPass+. There is no shade in the line so be prepared for a long wait of up to an hour, in the full sun! If the line is just extending over the bridge it seems to be around 30 to 40 minutes. If you don’t plan ahead then you will be waiting in line with everyone else. We have experienced both meal times and here is our Be Our Guest Lunch review.Ī dinner reservation is almost impossible to get, but if you have the patience to stand in line for lunch then you will be rewarded with a great experience and good food. Be Our Guest serves both lunch and dinner and the experiences are very different. Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland is the restaurant that everyone is talking about. ![]()
